2014 Thanksgiving Tablescape –
I know Thanksgiving is still three weeks away. Believe me when I say I am not trying to rush the holidays. November is going to be a busy month for me, so I thought I’d start the month with my tablescape. For this years Thanksgiving tablescape, I mixed some vintage pieces with my everyday dinnerware, and added some natural elements.
I used a wool plaid blanket for the tablecloth. The center piece is a vintage vase to which I added feathers and some grocery store flowers. At the bottom of the vase there is a mix of pumpkins, squash, leaves and acorns.
For favors, I covered chocolate candy bars with a printable I made. I’ll be sharing it on the blog next week.
The bakelite silverware and mushroom napkins are vintage.
The salad plates are from Target.
The elephant creamer and candlesticks are from Anthropologie.
I turned the side table into a dessert bar.

I am so excited to be attending the Creative Live class – Pattern Design: From Hand to Screen to Surface with Molly Hatch next Monday. I’ll be in the live audience. I can’t wait to learn from one of my favorite creative geniuses.
As always, simply lovely! Let the holiday craziness begin!
