The living room is a small space and has some oversized pieces in it. My goal is to make it feel bigger but also make it a cozy warm place to watch TV or read. I love the crown molding and the windows add lots of light (they also make it hard to take pictures). I recently bought the curtains at Target and really LOVE them. I need to buy another panel.
There is cream colored wall to wall carpeting that I would love to rip up. I think there might be wide pine flooring under it. My husband is not on board with that idea, so we’ll have to see if he comes around on that one.
A smaller coffee table would really help with making the room feel bigger. (That coffee table is hu.mon.gous!)
I’d like to try my hand at slip covering these chairs. (For some reason I sweat when I think about it.)
In the dinning room I’d love to paint the built in cupboard and maybe even take the doors off. I’d also like to replace the fan with a chandelier.
My husband made the round walnut pedestal table. I wish I took a better picture of it.
I attempted a gallery wall, but it looks a little busy. It may need to be tweaked or moved. I have to figure out a way to hide those speakers. We do listen to music all the time though so they have to function.
Next I will show you a project or two before I take you on to other rooms.

cute house looks like many fun projects. Have
you thought maybe trying to put your tv on the
sofa wall? or hanging it on the wall where you
have it know? might open up space for sitting.
Just a thought. As for the speakers can put them somehow in the hutch?
