I’m always trying to keep myself organized. I struggle with it all the time especially the office/crap (I mean craft) area. I found some silver baskets at Target this week (only $2.50 each). They seemed like the perfect bins for organizing crap (I mean crafts). I made some number tags to pretty them up and I thought I’d share the process.
You’ll need some manila tags. I used tags that were 4-3/4″ x 2-3/8″. A 1/4 yard of linen. Red thread (or color of your choice) and dimensional number stickers. I got mine at Michaels. Scissors and sewing machine. Note: If you don’t have a sewing machine you can use glue and skip the red thread.
Step 1: Cut a piece of linen 2″ x 3-1/2″ and center on tag.
Step 2: Sew down the edge of the linen using a 1/4″ seam or skip this step and glue the linen to the tag.
Step 3: Stick number sticker to center of tag.
Step 4: Get organized. (Easier said than done.)

Mary, these are so cute! Want to make some for me? 🙂 So cute! Since I don’t have a machine, I may try them with glue. 🙂
