A Little Thing Called Love
Hello, sweet friends. I have been so busy these last few weeks. I painted the guest room gray. We bought a queen size guest bed. My husband and I made a headboard. I just have to finish it with some dark wax. I’m looking for a coffee table and pillows to finish the living room. Is it just me or are there a lot of ugly coffee tables? I also painted the kitchen soffit with tinted chalk paint. I was going for a navy blue, but it turned out more black than I was wishing. I might repaint it, when I have time to come up for a little air. I am so overwhelmed with all the projects, that I am having a hard time sitting down to write about them. I will get there. I will.
It hasn’t all been home projects. We have been exploring Cleveland a lot lately. We saw our home team, the Red Sox, play the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. That is a beautiful baseball stadium. It was so strange to hear cheers when our players struck out. We had dinner at one of Michael Symon’s restaurants called Lola Bistro. I have one word for the food and service- AMAZING! We also saw comedian Frank Caliendo. He is so talented. I laughed until my sides hurt. Last, but definitely not least, I went to the HomeGirl’s Barn sale. That was my kind of fun. She will be at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, September 12 -14.
For today, I have another printable. (I love making these.) I am sending you a little thing called love, and asking you to be patient with me while I get back into a grove.
Click on the link below and it will take you to the file where you can print onto 8 1/2 X 11 paper. It will fit into an 8″ X 10″ frame if you trim a little off the edges, or you can tape it on a wall with washi tape.

Whoa, Mary, you HAVE been busy, doing instead of just writing! And I am most jealous of two things: making a headboard and going to a Michael Symon restaurant!!!!

It sounds like you’re loving your new city, Mary! Bit by bit, your house will get done and you’ll do it in record time! The barn sale sounds like my idea of a fun day!
